Halo Reach Machinima: RAGE

www.youtube.com/EvilChickenLord

Recently ArmedShadowFox got accepted to be a partner with Machinima.com

Way to go Shadow. Today, I'm here to right a review about his latest military instense machinima called Rage. It was made on Halo: Reach.

Audio

So lets talk about the audio first. All the voice were done by ArmedShadowFox himself, which alot of machinima directors wouldn't do. But when he does all the voice's himself he does a really good job, you can tell a difference in which character is talking. He puts alot of emotion into the voice overs. The music in the first couple of scenes were really good. The audio from the video is in complete sync. Oh and the music adds to the intensity aswell.

Video

The video quality is really outstanding. No one in this video is visably laggy. The brightness and the contrast are awesome, it's not to dark or light. The detail is amazing in this machinima. All the scenes are well clipped, meaning they all fit together. All nice and crisp.

Overall Rating
Audio: 9.5
Video: 10
Titles: 9.5(I didn't really like the title where it said Created by ArmedShadowFox. Or something like that. It went slow then went fast.)

I would recommend this machinima to anybody whose a fan of Halo or intense military action.

Halo: The Forgotten Horoes Part 1

Made by: OutsideTheBoxFilms
Link to part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAguucrQWQg&p=CE5C25F7D1B0D201&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1

Audio
The audio so far at the beginning is really good. It matches the video. The audio from the video matches up. They're not lagging. They're not delayed. Back to the music, all the sound tracks match the current event happening in the machinima.

Camera Angles
The camera angles and transitions are great. The scenic camera shots are a great way to establish the surrounding. That's all I can really say for them.

Voice Overs
The voice overs for the characters are well done. But the one spartans sounds like he's trying to sound like the Master Chief. And the other Spartans sounds like, I can't even think of a word to describe his voice over at the moment.

Story Line/Plot

I get the feeling like he was inspired to create this machinima by the famous Darknal that created TFS "The Forgotten Spartans" which is alright. I'm creating a machinima because of TFS.

I can't really thing of anything else to review on part 1 of this Halo 3 machinima.

Note: I think this part of this machinima is pretty well done. I'm actually wanting to see more from this guy.

This review isn't as long as my other one.
